FAQ
Q – Are you estate agents?
A – No, estate agents work for the seller to achieve the highest price for their client. We work for you, the buyer, to acquire the right property at the best price.
Q – Are you in competition with estate agents?
A – No, we work with estate agents to find the best property. They give us advance warning of properties. They would rather sell to buyers represented by a good search agent than agree an offer with someone who may well fail to complete the deal.
Q – Don’t estate agents do this as well?
A – Yes, some have their own in-house buying departments but there the similarity ends, as invariably they have conflicts of interest. We only act for the buyer.
Q – Where do you operate?
A – We currently have 19 offices across the country, covering the South East, South, East Midlands, West Midlands, the West Country and Wales.
It is very important to us to have local people on the ground who know the market, the agents, people and property.
Q – How many clients do you act for at any one time?
A – The very nature of what we do and the clients we represent means that we act for a limited number at any one time, providing a highly personal service.
Q – Who are your clients?
A – We are proud to represent all sorts of people, looking for all sorts of property. First-time buyers, families, holiday homeowners, investors, downsizers, entrepreneurs, social housing .
Q – Do you find rental property?
A – Yes, and we see this to be a growing field, as more people decide to rent and more good quality stock is made available by an increasingly professional landlord class.
Q – Do you only act for rich people at the top of the market?
A – No, we position ourselves in the middle to upper-middle end of the market. Recent deals have ranged from £227k to £3.26m.
Q – Isn’t your service just a luxury?
A – No, it is an absolute necessity. When you are making probably the most important decision of your life, you have got to get it right.
