At Stacks, we have been helping people move to, or relocate back to the UK for well over 40 years now.

Our clients have found our service absolutely invaluable, as we have saved them time, money and a lot of stress. Buying a property is one of the few things these days that you cannot do over the internet from a distance. We have local offices on the ground who know the local properties, the local market and give you the very best advice.

The first thing we would do is to encourage you to start thinking and talking and acting as early as you can. We would suggest that you talk to us, if you can, two years before your planned move – two years is ‘tomorrow’ in property terms. The last thing you and we want is for you to be under pressure to buy a property with work and family commitments looming.

Once we have taken a brief on a visit to the UK, where we can meet wherever is convenient, or by phone and Skype if you are not in the UK at all, we can get into the market on your behalf. We will be looking at and short-listing the best houses for you to see.

On a visit to the UK, all the arrangements will be made for you to tour and view your short-list.

Once a good house has been found, we will start the due diligence to make sure that we are in the best position to negotiate the best price for you.

Being local and on the ground, we will oversee the survey and and conveyancing process, making sure that matters are dealt with so that you know that you are buying the right property.
