The client was living in America with his wife and young daughter and were being relocated to London. They knew the Muswell Hill area a little and had found a school for the daughter so time and representation were key.
What they were looking for
The client had identified a house that they liked but needed assistance with the purchase process having not bought in the UK before, and also someone who was working for them to represent their interests.
What the local area offer could offer
This had been decided to by the client already, but Muswell Hill offers a wonderful village feel as well as ease of access to the City, wonderful views as it is hilly and also lots of large green spaces and woodland to enjoy as well as great shops and schools.
How Stacks helped
Once instructed we had a looks at the house and spoke to local agents in the area to see how compared with other comparable. Once the client was satisfied that the house suited their needs and after a few Facetime calls from the property Stacks negotiated the price and got it agreed. Stacks then assisted with Solicitors and surveyors to help the transaction proceed as quickly as possible as the clients were moving in to London in just a couple of months.
The happy outcome
A few areas of attention had come up from the survey and also throughout the conveyancing process which Stacks was able to advise on and assist with a slight price change at the end to assist with the works which needed to be carried out.
