Initial Consultation
Sometimes you know where you want to move, but you simply don’t know how to start the search. We can help you work out what you’re looking for and why. Our Initial Consultation begins with a discussion to understand the basis of your decision to move. We’ve found this to be invaluable in establishing your search parameters, because it then enables us to ask the right questions for you to answer and work out exactly what you want to buy. You can then get hunting.
Finding the right property can take up a lot of time. If you’re busy, you may feel you can’t dedicate enough hours to doing the job properly. And let’s face it… it’s a big decision you’ll be making, so you don’t want to be pressured into any mistakes. If you work with Stacks, therefore, we make sure we have a clear understanding of what you’re looking for, and why, and then we go and find it for you. We look at what’s on the market. We put our ear to the ground for what could soon be on the market. And we also dig up properties that no one believes could ever be on the market. No stone is left unturned. When you’ve found your perfect home, it can be tempting to just leap in and offer anything that will secure it. But you know you’re not doing yourself any favours if you do that. It’s very likely a better price can be negotiated, and there may be improvements on other terms that can be agreed to make your life easier too. It literally pays to get us involved at this point, therefore. The estate agent you’ve been liaising with actually represents the interests of the seller. Planning for Post-Completion
Moving is a logistical nightmare. And it’s a daunting process, particularly if you haven’t done it for a long time. We can assist in all aspects of the process, and have a large directory of tried and tested local tradesmen and suppliers who will make the things much easier for you. Our service to help you plan for post-completion is a flexible feast, and can include anything from arranging removal companies and storage companies, to liaising with architects, builders, interior designers, and cleaners, etc. We can screen, appoint or supervise these services as required by you. And, of course, our attendance on completion day to retrieve the keys, check the property condition, and take meter readings etc. is our favourite part of the service.
Project Management
Some clients require project management for work being carried out on their new property, and this is also something that we can undertake and is priced accordingly.
