How does our UK Property Relocation Service work?
Our property relocation services follows these steps – we:
Discuss: Our first action is to discuss your thoughts and plans in detail. Ideally, that will take place in the UK when you’re visiting. However, it is also possible to liaise via Skype or the phone. Technology is on our side here. We will want to find out about your home life, your hobbies, your likes, your dislikes, plus practical requirements like schools and access to work etc. Your answers to our questions will form part of our brief and help us get a good understanding of what you need… and why.
Search: Our next task is then to start house hunting on your behalf. We deal with local estate agents every day, so we know how to find potential properties, and we also know how to find out about properties that aren’t on the market yet too. Once we have a short list, we’ll carry out our own initial viewings to save you time and disappointment. And when we spot one that we feel you should see we’ll discuss making arrangements for you to view it with us during a visit to the UK.
Research: When we find something that appears to tick all the boxes for you, we’ll carry out further research into the background of the vendor and property. Nobody likes surprises and our aim is always to put ourselves in the best position to negotiate on your behalf.
Negotiate: Next comes the fun part. Negotiation. Based on what we’ve learned through our research, we’ll have the awkward conversations, ask the awkward questions, and get the best purchase price and terms we can.
Liaise: Once your offer is accepted, we will then continue to deal with every aspect of your purchase, from working with the surveyor, to liaising with planners, conferring with your solicitor, and dealing with any problems. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way, whilst still keeping everything as stress-free as possible.
Secure: Once your property is secured and contracts have exchanged, we will then continue to assist by liaising with local tradesmen, suppliers, removers, etc. and basically be on hand to advise on any aspect of your new property. Until finally we can…
