Our next task is then to start house hunting on your behalf. We deal with local estate agents every day, so we know how to find potential properties, and we also know how to find out about properties that aren’t on the market yet too. Once we have a short list, we’ll carry out our own initial viewings to save you a trip to the UK. We can then talk you through our findings and see if anything jumps out at you that you may want to visit yourself.
When we find something that appears to tick all the boxes for you, we’ll carry out further research into the background of the vendor and property. Nobody likes surprises and our aim is always to put ourselves in the best position to negotiate on your behalf. We will also discuss making arrangements for you to view it with us during a visit to the UK or virtually if you prefer.
Next comes the fun part. Negotiation. Based on what we’ve learned through our research, we’ll have the awkward conversations, ask the awkward questions, and get the best purchase price and terms we can.
