THE UK rental market is growing year on year and if you have money to invest, yields are looking attractive.
Nowhere is demand higher than in the student accommodation market and it is possible (at the moment) to realise up to 10 per cent yields in this niche area. If you get it right it can be a goldmine.

She said: “If they choose wisely and follow the rules, yields can be incredibly attractive. In cities like Brighton gross yields can be in the region of 6-8 per cent and many people are using a student portfolio to create income in retirement rather than rely on pensions.”
