Anthony Clay, known in the business and to friends as Anto, knows the area and the market inside out. With more than 30 years’ experience as an estate agent, mainly with Knight Frank and a recent consultancy with Fine and Country, Anto brings extensive knowledge of the Monmouthshire and South Herefordshire property market to Stacks. His understanding of the processes and pitfalls involved in the purchase and sale of properties, whether Castle or Cottage, is second to none.
He covers a wide geographical area known as the Southern Marches including Monmouthshire, South Herefordshire, The Brecon Beacons National Park and West Gloucestershire and will make the buying process easier, safer and much more successful.
Anthony was brought up in Monmouthshire, served in the army in his twenties, is a former High Sheriff and sits as a Community Counsellor. As well as working for Stacks he helps his wife Sarah run her Garden School near Chepstow, has been extensively re-planting woodland and has a forestry business in Vermont, though admits the latter is partly to provide an excuse and cover the cost of motorcycle trips in the US.
