We can help you work out what you’re looking for and why. Our Initial Consultation begins with a discussion to understand the basis of your decision to move. We’ve found this to be invaluable in establishing your search parameters, because it then enables us to ask the right questions for you to answer and work out exactly what you want to buy. You can then get hunting.
Property Finding with your Buying Agent
The Complete Package – until the milk is in the fridge on moving-in day
We know that finding the right property can take up a lot of time. If you’re busy, you may feel you can’t dedicate enough hours to doing the job properly. And let’s face it… it’s a big decision you’ll be making, so you don’t want to be pressured into any mistakes.
If you choose to work with Stacks as your buying agent, we make sure we have a clear understanding of what you’re looking for, and why. We then go and find it for you. We look at what’s on the market. We put our ear to the ground for what could soon be on the market. And we also dig up properties that no one believes could ever be on the market. No stone is left unturned. We make it our quest to find the ideal home for you.

As part of the Complete Package, or as a stand-alone service, if you’ve found the house, and need support acquiring it
When you’ve found your perfect home, it can be tempting to just leap in and offer anything that will secure it. But you know you’re not doing yourself any favours if you do that. It’s very likely a better price can be negotiated, and there may be improvements on other terms that can be agreed to make your life easier too. It literally pays to use a buying agent at this point.
Remember, the estate agent you’ve been liaising with actually represents the interests of the seller. But we are working solely on your behalf and will always look to get the best possible price and terms available.
Planning for Post-Completion
A variety of support is available to help you get settled in and living asap
When you’re using a buying agent, the support doesn’t stop at completion! We know that moving can be a logistical nightmare. And it’s a daunting process, particularly if you haven’t done it for a long time, or are attempting this from a long distance.
We can help where required in all aspects of the process. We have a large directory of local tradesmen and suppliers who we work with regularly to make the things much easier for you.
We can also help you plan for post-completion and help with anything from:
- Arranging removal companies and storage companies
- Liaising with architects
- Enlisting builders
- Contacting interior designers
- Searching for cleaners, etc.
We will also be there on completion day to retrieve the keys, check the property condition, and take meter readings etc. This has to be our favourite part of the buying agent service we offer.
Project Management
Specific project assistance
Depending on the type of property, some clients require project management for work being carried out once the purchase is complete. This is also something that we can undertake and is priced accordingly.
