Gillie and Anthony have been involved in the property business for over 20 years. They had lived in Norfolk for many years and have family in Suffolk where they now live. They know and love the area well and have built up a number of contacts which they find invaluable in helping their clients in finding the perfect property in Suffolk and north Essex.
Prior to their move to Suffolk, they resided and worked in France for over 15 years. They had set up an estate agency business in the south of France where they successfully sold a large number of properties to buyers from all around the world but mostly to those from UK. The properties ranged from derelict wrecks to beautifully renovated stone farmhouses and large chateaux.
‘It was a job we absolutely loved and it was about finding our buyers the perfect property. We helped them through the whole process and held their hands right the way through to completion and often beyond ironing out any problems that arose (and there are always some) and making sure that a sale doesn’t fall through because of lack of communication. This puts us in good stead in helping those who don’t have a lot of time on their hands and don’t need the hassle and stress of house hunting especially in unfamiliar areas. We are the ‘eyes and ears’ of our buyers. The completion failure rate is around 33% in England. We at Stacks are pleased to say that the company’s success rate is extremely high and we put this down to the high amount of research and time we are committed to put in on behalf of our buyers.’
Suffolk is largely unspoilt. It’s peppered with achingly pretty villages set in glorious countryside and it has an outstanding coastline with notable towns such as Southwold and Aldeburgh not forgetting Lavenham, the best preserved medieval town in England. In its heyday it was the wealthiest. Suffolk is a wonderful place to raise families and there are some exceptional schools. Accessibility is good for London commuters. Ipswich, Manningtree and Colchester are around 1 hour by train to Liverpool St and Stratford with its links to the City.
