The River Glyme separates the town into the “old and new” yet both sides contain houses built with traditional Oxfordshire stone, making a beautiful place to live. Local shops and pubs thrive in the area, and Blenheim regular hosts events that are open to the public, meaning that there is always something new and exciting when living here. Surrounding villages have many houses on sale that give the Country lifestyle that some new country home buyers are after.
The proposed route for the new high speed rail train does cut through some of this beautiful area in the midlands. The line will affect the northern Warwickshire towns more, being directed through the gap between Kenilworth and Coventry. However the benefits this line will bring include getting to London in under an hour, and the trains will be designed to carry more passengers meaning that trains should be less cramp and more comfortable.
