By this we particularly mean the area of South East Powys following the River Usk between Crickhowell and Brecon. Once part of old Brecknockshire, it is a holiday destination beloved for the Brecon Beacons, the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, Llangorse Resevoir and miles of walks and rides. Not surprisingly Crickhowell is one of Britain’s most popular small towns. Space, quietness, nature, pubs, restaurants, and all close to Abergavenny rail station.
