Classifying herself as a ‘problem-solver’, Rachel has been a Regional Director with Stacks for over six years.
Having used the company to move her own family back to her roots in the Midlands in 2012. “Working full-time, we had no time to househunt effectively over a large area, and the pressure was on to get it done right.” Having used her own hard-earned cash on the service, she knew it was something that more people would do if only they knew it was a service for real people, not only on the property programmes on the TV or just for the rich and famous.
“My first question is always ‘when the dust settles, how do you want to be living?” says Rachel. “And I have my happiest days when visiting clients, blissfully ensconced a few months after I’ve loaded the fridge with milk and made the removal men their tea on the day of completion!!”
Rachel lives her professional advice : on the edge of rural Northamptonshire “the Secret Shire”, multi-generationally (her mum is at the bottom of the garden): whilst her husband does the daily commute into London on the Chiltern Line and she househunts all over Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire for her clients. Mother to two sporty teenagers, and an unruly Miniature Schnauzer, she specialises in foreseeing obstacles to getting the job done – “you in the right house at the right price”, and moves heaven and earth to clear the path for you to get there.
