Manningtree / Mistley Property Finders

On the Essex/Suffolk border lies England’s smallest town of Manningtree with the quaintly named village of Mistley nestling alongside on the River Stour estuary. It is well known as the gateway to ‘Constable country’ and is a wonderful place for sailing, country walks and especially watching the migrating birds in the salt marshes and mud flats. It’s also home to a vast number of swans, said to be the largest swannery in the UK established as far back as the 1500’s. Mistley contains many impressive Georgian and Victorian houses and you will find super eateries and pubs with stunning riverside views. There are some fabulous properties in the area overlooking the estuary with the most superb views. Commuting to London is easy with plentiful rail services from Manningtree to London. Journey time to Stratford for the city 52 mins and Liverpool St  62 mins.
