Moving home is always a stressful and fraught experience but the help and assistance that we received from Gillie and Anthony Pearce of Stacks undoubtedly made the whole process of buying our new house far more straightforward than we feared. They very quickly understood us and what we were looking for. We have moved some 40 miles from our previous home and to have local Agents in place who could view properties and negotiate with selling Agents on our behalf meant that we had more time and could pursue far more options than if we had tried to just handle this ourselves. We are delighted with the house that we purchased and it is safe to say that we would not be here now if it was not for the assistance of the Pearce’s.

I know they say that buying a home is one of the most stressful things, but the way you made it feel was anything but!   

Living in London and working full time doesn’t leave a lot of time for a house hunt, so engaging you in this process was the best decision I made.. You simply took the stress away by understanding what it was I was after, what was important to me, and the budget I had, I loved that you were never pushy or made me feel that I was getting anything other than the best for my money, which was true! 

You were always on the end of the phone, friendly, helpful, no question too big or small, or weird! You were so instinctive about what it was I was after and your knowledge of the market and the properties available was second to none. I loved how you asked the questions I didn’t even know I needed to ask, and were always there to talk to and guide throughout the process. Always calm and reassuring, there to have a discussion and a chat. 

You are both very special, professional and courteous, kind and warm. I felt I was in safe hands all the way through, you just knew! 

I cannot thank you enough for finding my beautiful Suffolk home. I felt it mattered to you that I got the property that truly worked for me, I could never have done this alone.  You too are total superstars.

I think Gillie kept the best till last because it took me less than ten seconds to decide that I had found what I was looking for. 

Initially disappointed that the house I was interested in had just been sold, Gillie carefully took me though a selection of properties in and around my budget. I think Gillie kept the best till last because it took me less than ten seconds to decide that I had found what I was looking for. 

After that the coordination and care that Anthony put into the conveyance, especially as the sellers were in their nineties, was as good as I have known over years of buying many properties.

As other testimonials have said, Gillie is intuitive and pretty much insisted (in a nice way) we see a house that on paper, we’d rejected. We now own it, so good for her! Anthony is excellent at sorting out the niggly bits that inevitably occur once the process of purchase is underway. Communication is very good via emails, texts, and phone calls. We never had to wait more than a day to hear news, or for a response to one of our enquiries. (Could you possibly check mobile phone signal? Could you possibly read the electricity meter? Could you possibly find out what the neighbouring land is used for? (Yep, we were that couple). They’re friendly, professional and hardworking but they also have time for a bit of a chat when concerns arise. And they do also seem genuinely pleased when it all goes swimmingly, as it did with us.
