Hampshire is a very diverse county.
Driving along the M27 which goes east-west across the coast of Hampshire the view alternates from rolling farmland, to big city, to rolling farmland, to international airport, to big city and back to rolling farmland again before hitting the New Forest. The first purchase that this Stacks office secured for a client, was in Hampshire in 1987 and since then we have had hundreds of happy clients. Please look at our Testimonials page for some of their comments.
The Regional Director Bill Spreckley was brought up in Hampshire and after a brief sojourn living in London he is back where he came from. He loves the fact that he can live in a village and walk his dog in the beautiful surrounding countryside and yet have all the infrastructure that Hampshire offers at his fingertips, for him to dip into when he wants it.
The main economic area in Hampshire is centred around Southampton and Portsmouth, both of course are major ports and the immediate surrounding areas have grown up to support these two hubs. Other towns and cities include Winchester, Andover,Petersfield, Alton, Odiham and Basingstoke.
Communication links are excellent. The M3 and A3 give quick road access to London, the M25 and the rest of the country. Southampton Airport is a little gem, if you are fed up with the queues at Gatwick and Heathrow, try getting a flight to many European destinations from Southampton/Eastleigh Airport and sail through customs and baggage in under 30mins! There are also good train links to London Waterloo from Southampton (80mins), Petersfield (70mins), Alton (67mins), Winchester (62mins) and Basingstoke (45mins).
